Lesions of Septoria leaf spot.
Figure 1:  Early blight lesions on tomato can be recognized by the concentric rings pattern that can be often be observed in lesions. Figure 2:  Lesions of Septoria leaf spot are often a chocolate brown with a lighter gray color in the center of the lesion. It may be possible to observe dark fungal structures in the center of some lesions that represent the causal fungus.
