To report an invasive species, go to the Midwest Invasive Species Information Network website and click on “Report Sightings” in the green toolbar at the top, or click on the green leaf in the center of the homepage. You will then be asked to register or log in prior to reporting your sighting.
Six invasive species newer to Michigan are:
- Spotted wing Drosophila
- Brown marmorated stink bug
- Multi-colored Asian lady beetle
- Garlic mustard
- Emerald ash borer
- Hemlock woolly adelgid
