Figure 1 depicts precipitation departures from normal across the state during the past 90 days based on a combination of observed station reports and NEXRAD radar precipitation estimates. Departures range from more than 6 inches above normal in west central and central sections of Lower Michigan to more than 6 inches below normal in western sections of Upper Michigan.
